Let's walk through Odori Park!
Sculptures and Monuments

Odori Park is a special park located in the center of Sapporo City, extending from Odori Nishi 1-chome to Odori Nishi 12-chome, with a length of 1.5 km and an area of 7.8 ha. Formerly called Shiribeshi-Dori, the parkland was used as a firebreak separating the government office area to the north and the residential area to the south. 3-Chome was the site of the General Headquarters and a church after the war, but the park was restored as a place for citizens to relax, flowerbeds were maintained, and the area became a venue for citizen events such as the Lilac Festival and Snow Festival.
