Maruumiya is an izakaya offering a wide variety of dishes from across Hokkaido, all served with chopsticks.
We’re located on the first floor of the Nissay Sapporo Building, facing Akarenga Plaza in front of the Hokkaido Government Office.
Our ingredients—seafood, vegetables, meat, alcoholic beverages, and more—are delivered fresh directly from producers throughout the region.
You can also enjoy Hokkaido’s three famous crabs: king crab, snow crab, and hairy crab (reservation required).
We offer seven private rooms where you can relax and enjoy your meal in comfort. Menus in foreign languages are available.
Choose from a wide range of dishes to suit your taste: fresh/raw, chilled, grilled, steamed, room-temperature, or simmered.
Hokkaido is often called the “Kingdom of Food” for its rich variety of ingredients. Come and savor the best of what each region has to offer.
We also serve delicious local beer, wine, and sake from Hokkaido.
